One of the reasons I love photographs, is that the One of the reasons I love photographs, is that they give us a way of speaking to the future - a little letter to someone we haven’t met yet.

“This is our farm back in 2026.”
“This was me.”
“This was my childhood.”

A quiet record of our story and the people (and animals) who make our life feel like home.

On Saturday I had the honour of capturing Victoria On Saturday I had the honour of capturing Victoria and Michael’s wedding in Somerset.

The day began with the bride and groom arriving at the church in tractors, before Victoria rode White Chocolate Button, a brown Swiss cow, up to the church doors. The ceremony was beautiful, and the bride and groom left the church under pitch forks.

The afternoon that followed on their farm was full of animals, laughter, music, delicious food and the loveliest people. We headed up to Brent Knoll Hill to capture Victoria & Michael with the surrounding breathtaking views. Shortly after, celebrations were paused whilst the cows were milked.

And the evening… well let’s just say a rodeo bull and luxury fish & chip van is a brilliant way to end a wedding.

I have been chatting with Victoria about the wedding for well over a year, and all of the tiny details she thought of and included were truly amazing.

Thank you Victoria & Michael for trusting me to capture such a special day for you and I wish you both a lifetime of happiness.

I adore capturing moments like these. Photographs that continue to tell a story and feel truly lived in. A family’s story, rooted in a place that has been loved for generations, captured in a way that can be treasured for years to come.

I have a couple of photoshoot spaces available late summer; let me know if you’d like to hear more. 📸
