EQUINE

PHOTOGRAPHS THAT CAPTURE YOUR FRIENDSHIP

YOUR EQUINE PHOTOSHOOT

No matter how cheeky your horse is being, or how cold it is outside – you are never happier than when you are at the yard. A photoshoot is the perfect way to encapsulate this lifestyle and loving bond. Held in the comfort of your own yard or out on location, your photoshoot will be focused on capturing the connection and story between you and your horse.

THE EXPERIENCE

ENQUIRY CALL

Lucy loves to chat with all potential clients before booking in their photoshoot.

Answering any questions you may have, finding out what your dream photographs are, and to insure that she is the perfect photographer for you.

WELCOME PACK

Once your photoshoot date is booked in the diary, a Welcome Pack will be sent to you. Full of inspiration and information to prepare you and your horse for Photoshoot Day.

CREATIVE CALL

Time to design your vision.

A few weeks before the photoshoot, you shall have your Creative Call; which can be held over the phone, Zoom or in-person. Preparation, outfits, locations and so much more, will be discussed. An informal chat to get to know each other and ask any questions.

PHOTOSHOOT

A two hour photoshoot experience at a location of your choice, with plenty of time for outfit changes. A relaxed shooting style means posing will be kept to a minimum; just the occasional guidance. Capturing your true bond, Lucy takes a fly on the wall approach, strongly believing that the magical moments are captured when you forget that she is even there. All are welcome, so if you have multiple horses, other animals, or would like to have family members included in your photoshoot – the more the merrier.

VIEWING

The opportunity to bring your family and friends together, to view your collection for the very first time; in the comfort of your own home. Each photograph, edited in Lucy’s signature style, will be showcased individually to music. An incredibly special and emotional experience.

FAMILY HEIRLOOMS

Your photographs, provided as high resolution digital files, are included in the shoot fee. Lucy will bring print, frame and album samples to your viewing, ready to help you design and curate your dream wall art and albums for your home.

FAQ'S

ARE YOU THE PHOTOGRAPHER FOR ME?

When booking a photoshoot, it is vital that you connect with your photographer. They should put you at ease, fill you with confidence, and you must LOVE their photographic style.

Lucy strives to become good friends with her clients. Building a relationship that lasts many years. Following their journey and capturing the magic.

Click here to read a blog post where she chats all about if she is the perfect photographer for you.

What if it is raining on the day of my photoshoot?

Lucy will be in touch the day before your photoshoot to discuss the weather conditions. If it is due to rain your photoshoot can be rescheduled to a new nearby date.

There is no extra charge for rescheduling due to weather.

However, do not completely disregard a photoshoot in the rain. The resulting photographs can be incredible.

What should we wear?

Outfit inspiration, based on the seasons,  will be included in your Welcome Pack, and can also be discussed during your Creative Call.

Consider neutral colours and minimal contrasting patterns.  However it is important that you stay true to your style; wear outfits that make you feel like you.

And don’t forget the accessories! Your favourite hat or jewellery can give each and every photograph that special meaning.

My pony is very cheeky. What happens if they don’t behave during the photoshoot?

Some hate standing still, others love it. Some are confident and others shy. Lucy prides herself on tailoring every photoshoot to meet the client and their horse’s/pony’s needs. Loving to capture their cheekiness and personality. Lucy will take it one step at a time, and if your equine needs a break or a treat stop, that is not a problem! She will work at their pace.

My yard is quite small, will we still be able to get good photographs?

To capture incredible photographs, you only need very small areas. Some of the most unlikely spaces at your yard can make the perfect backdrop; a brick wall, field, stable, flower bed – the opportunities are endless. Every yard can be the perfect setting for a photoshoot.
