Wife On The Farm

Client Love

Back in July, 2020 I headed over to Worcester to meet Stef and her family on their dairy farm. Spending the night in a Bell Tent on their glamping site, I was able to capture sunrise, sunset and everything in-between.

Stef kindly wrote the following review, about her experience;

โ€œWe had Lucy stay with us for a Rural Lifestyle photoshoot in the summer. I could not have been happier with the photographs that Lucy captured of our daily lives. We now have many gorgeous photographs of us all capturing various aspects of our day, from feeding the chickens, enjoying some time with our horses and ponies, and feeding and milking the cows, and harvesting our home-grown vegetables. They are all so natural and look as though she was just a fly on the wall. I love how the photographs offer so much more than if we had just had some family photos taken in a studio somewhere.

We kept Lucy busy with a full schedule, but she didnโ€™t disappoint. At all times Lucy was easy going and smiling, and she made us all relax and forget that she was taking photographs of us. I think this is why the photographs work so well.

I love the โ€˜extraโ€™ photos Lucy took whilst photographing us as a family โ€“ the ones of the cows in the field, the geese on the yard. They all help to create a day-in-the-life on our farm that will make a fantastic album to cherish forever.

Throughout the process Lucyโ€™s communication was fantastic. She made arranging the dates of her attendance easy, and the viewing process at the end was pretty special.

I canโ€™t recommend Lucy enough. Her photographs are beautiful, she has a great talent, and she was a pleasure to work with.โ€

It was a truly fabulous couple of days and I cannot wait to pop back to catch up with Stef once their new Farm Cafe is open (it is being built at the moment and looks absolutely incredible!).
