Oh I am so excited about this one!

Late last week it was announced to its members that I was being welcomed onto the board as a Director for The BIPP.

The BIPP is an, internationally recognised, qualifying organisation with over 120 years of supporting and networking professional photographers.

I am passionate about the photography industry, with its unlimited possibilities, and to be on the board is a huge honour.

Photographs are emotive. They can make us laugh, bring a tear to our eye or anything in between.

For every client I look to capture the natural magical moments of their lifestyle.

Resulting in photographs that give them a warm glowing feeling inside. Every time they see it.

This is the feeling of home.

Photographs that feel just like them.
    ~ New Year’s Resolutions ~ I’ve always loved ~ New Year’s Resolutions ~

I’ve always loved resolution and goal setting especially at the start of the year. Making pretty Ta Da lists (aka ‘to do lists’ but with a bit more pizzazz to make them fun🤣) to break down every goal. 📝

But this year was different.

I am podcast obsessed; always listening when mucking out the ducks or editing. On one of my favourites late last year, the exact one escapes me, it was said ‘why wait till the new year to set goals, what are you waiting for - set them now and get moving’ - or something similar.

This resonated with me. What are we waiting for, life is far to short and unpredictable to hesitate. 🕰

So my one goal for this year is to jump feet first into any goal that comes to mind in 2022 and to see where it’ll take me.

Who’s with me? 💪🏻

Oh, well hello there 2022! 🎉 I always lo Oh, well hello there 2022! 🎉

I always love the 1st of January; the very first page of a new chapter.

This month I will be participating in the #JanIGChallenge2022 hosted by @sophiecallahan , as I have always found it to be the perfect way to kickstart the new year. 📱

Today's task; to introduce ourselves.
So without further a do...

Hey! It's Lucy.

I am a Rural Lifestyle Photographer based in rural Essex, who travels across the UK capturing the lives of those living in the countryside. 🏡

I love to take photographs that 'feel like home' for my clients; capturing the natural and authentic moments in a documentary style.

A smallholder-in-the-making, I keep ducks and am working towards being self-sufficient; discovering how to use the land efficiently. 🦆

Tweed, our working cocker spaniel puppy, is a key team member of LNP and will always insist on participating in any Zoom call. 🐾

What a crazy year it has been! I’ve had such a blast on every photoshoot, and feel so honoured to have been welcomed to step into your lives and capture these moments for you.

Covid has not made anything easy, but 2021 may just be my favourite year yet - moving to the country, driving Tweed home from Exmoor… My heart is very full ❤️

I’m so grateful to all of you for following along with our journey.

Have the best evening x
