In June last year I met Simba, the very handsome miniature dachshund, and his family for their photoshoot.
Nick, Keily, and her two daughters (Scarlett & Poppy) had entered our prize draw at the All About Dogs Show in May, and were the lucky winners of a photoshoot.
We met in Langdon, Essex, at the beautiful nature reserve. The weather was perfect, with the bright sun making the foliage extra lush; a lovely day to be outside.
Together we captured Simba (who was only one years-old at the time) on his own, each family member with Simba and then group photographs of the family.

Nick left a very kind testimonial:
“Thank you Lucy for such a lovely photoshoot with Simba and the girls. We all had such a wonderful day and you made it a very enjoyable experience for us. The results were stunning and we can’t wait to get our photographs!
Lucy is very talented, has a good eye for detail, easy going and very professional. She has a knack for composition and directing her subjects to get the gorgeous photos you can clearly see in her portfolio. I would highly recommend to anyone wishing to capture those perfect moments!”
It’s a real shame that we’ve be unable to go outside and photograph in the gorgeous weather we have been having over the last few weeks. But I am quite content staying safe at home and reminiscing about the past people and animals I have had the absolute pleasure of photographing.
Hope you are all having a lovely week!
